Externships

Award-Winning Extern Program

The award-winning Associate Alumnae Extern Program, sponsored by the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College, is one of the largest programs of its kind in the country, allowing Douglass College students to "try on a career for size." Each year, hundreds of students work for a week or two (during winter and spring semester breaks) with alumnae mentors whose careers most closely parallel their own particular interests. The Extern Program has been bringing students together with alumnae and other professionals for over 30 years.

Alumnae interested in sponsoring a student for and Externship during the 2008-09 academic year, please complete an interest form.

Questions or concerns regarding the Extern program should be forwarded to Martie Record or Meg Gardiner in the Alumnae Center.
